Aside from a few holdouts in the area, most of us have taken down our lawn signs promoting ballot measures and candidates from the last election cycle. So, no one is buying yard signs now, and there is no reason to promote them, right? Think again! These markers are an excellent, cost-effective way to advertise your business or events all year round. Boy Scout Troop 203 realized this, so they contacted G-Force Signs & Graphics for lawn signs for fundraisers in Windsor, CT.
What Is Boy Scout Troop 203?
Based in Windsor, Boy Scout Troop 203 is made up of teen and pre-teen scouts following scout values, building independent young men of character, and pursuing camping and other outdoor adventures. The main goal of any Boy Scout troop is to train youth in character development, self-reliance, and responsible citizenship through participation in a broad array of educations programs, community projects, and just plain getting out into nature.
When an organization that does so much to help raise upstanding young men came to us for fundraising lawn signs in Windsor, CT, we were honored to be of assistance. On Saturday, March 4th, Troop 203 will be hosting their 13th Annual Pasta Supper in the Nelson Hall of the First Church in Windsor. The funds raised will go toward helping build confidence, leadership, and character in community boys. They needed an affordable way to get the word out about their event. Fortunately, they contacted the right sign shop!
What We Did for Troop 203
First, we met with Troop 203 to discuss what they had in mind for their project. They wanted to keep the message simple and inexpensive. So, we recommended one of the most affordable freestanding signs on the market: lawn signs. The client thought that sounded great, and once they approved of the designs, we got down to work fabricating the markers.
The black lettering and Boy Scout logos were rendered on both sides of each corrugated plastic sign. For each sign, we provided an H-shaped wire frame that is easy to stake into the ground on one end and skewer the coroplast sign on the other end. In the end, Troop 203 was thrilled with the job we did. These signs are sure to pay for themselves quickly with the number of diners they attract to the pasta dinner.
