When a company changes its brand identity there are many factors they need to take into account to project this image to their clients. As part of this process a company should have their new brand to be as visible as possible. Regional Cancer Care Associates tasked us with creating a lobby sign for their new office in West Hartford, CT.
First things first, what is a lobby sign? A lobby sign is a company logo that is often created from a number of materials before it can be installed on a wall. Of course, the lobby sign is often installed in the entry area of the building of an organization. When the Regional Cancer Care Associates approached us, they needed a lobby sign for their waiting area at their new location.
We had a discussion with Regional Cancer Care Associates regarding different material options for their lobby sign. They decided on ordering brushed aluminum dimensional letters. We produced their logo in a brushed aluminum finish was a great contrast on the burgundy colored wall. The lobby sign, designed for the waiting room in their new location in West Hartford, no doubt serves its purpose. It allows individuals, whether visitors or patients to identify their location within the facility. It also helps identify, not only the personality of the organization but its adherence to quality.
Medical Office Sign
To tend to their MD and exam rooms, ADA signs that are OSHA complaint were also requested. In order to create ADA Signs to complement their decor, we discussed various factors that determine ADA compliance. We showed them different colors that we can fabricate to match, contrast and compliment their wall colors.
After selecting their color preferences in adherence to the ADA standards, we were able to craft their ADA signs and schedule a timely install. Of course, keeping in mind the set standards, we always consider the proper placement and positioning of each ADA sign in public spaces such as medical offices.
ADA Signs For Medical Offices
By approaching us, Regional Cancer Care Associates requested ADA signs that help drive the following purposes:
• Help their patients find their way around the facility
• Help increase positive user experience within the facility to everyone
• To craft a cohesive look to all their medical signage
• To drive organization and reduce confusion within the organization
That being said, ADA signs such as restroom, room identifier, stairwell and elevator signs are essential. Whereas ADA signs would help inform patients, visitors and workers of the designated areas, interior signs would help create a brand image. Lobby signs are often used to reflect the brand image as well, as well as add to the overall interior décor.
