Once and a while, you need to rebrand, whether you have merged with another organization or your branding is simply outdated. This is a complicated process that necessitates a lot of attention to detail. United Performance Metals realized this, so they called in the professionals at G-Force Signs & Graphics to help with rebranding signs and graphics in South Windsor CT.
What Is United Performance Metals?
Headquartered in Hamilton, Ohio, United Performance Metals (UPM) is a global distributor of high-performance metals serving clients in an array of sectors, such as oil and gas, medical, aerospace, semiconductor, power generation, fastener, and more. They offer a full inventory of products, like aluminum, cobalt chrome moly, nickel alloys, stainless steel, alloy steel, titanium, cobalt alloys, and duplex stainless steel. Their mission is to deliver quality products and services to their customers through world-class people, facilities, and processes.
When an organization with such a global reach came to us for rebranding signs and graphics in South Windsor CT, we were thrilled to be of assistance. UPM’s location on Pleasant Valley Road in South Windsor was formerly known as Aerodyne Alloys, but due to an organizational restructuring within the parent company, O’Neal Industries, the change in branding was necessary. Fortunately, they contacted the right sign shop for the job.
What We Did for UPM
Our first step in the sign-making process was to meet with the client and perform a site survey to find out what signs needed to be updated. There were a lot of new signs and graphics needed. For each, we provided art proofs of what the finished marker would look like before beginning fabrication. Here is a list of what we did:
Window Graphics – We installed the UPM logo on a number of their windows. For each, we printed the logo on top-quality vinyl using our digital printer. We also installed white cut vinyl lettering to let customers know when they were open.
Post Graphics – Right in front of their entrance, UPM has a big metal post, which is perfect for an organization that specializes in creating metals. For this, we again fabricated and installed their logo.
Cabinet Sign Refacing – Their cabinet sign was working fine. The only problem was that it had the old branding on it. We simply created new faces for each side of the cabinet. There was no need to replace any other components.
All of the installation work was performed at a time when we would not disrupt UPM’s business. In the end, they were completely satisfied with the work we did. Now, their branding has a consistent appearance inside and out.
