Whether you are expanding your enterprise or opening your first brick-and-mortar location, there is a lot of work that goes into getting a new space ready to open to the public. Among the many factors to consider is your signage. Strand Salon was expanding their business and wanted help removing old graphics and replacing them with new, so they contacted G-Force Signs & Graphics for vinyl window graphics and lettering in Glastonbury CT.
A Little about Strand Salon
Located in Eric Town Square on Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury, Strand Salon was started by Paul Misciagno and Jennifer Casserino-Misciagno with the goal of making sure every customer that comes through their door can unwind from their busy day, get services that go above and beyond what they expect, and leaves them knowing how to maintain their new look until they come back again. They have a full staff of stylists, colorists, makeup artists, bridal specialists, and more.
When a business that does so much to keep local residents looking their best came to us for vinyl window graphics and lettering in Glastonbury CT, we were more than happy to be of assistance. Strand Salon is undergoing an expansion project, and they needed help with signage for the additional space. Fortunately, they contacted the right sign shop!
What We Did for Strand
Our first step for this project was to meet with Strand Salon and check out their new space. Based on their vision, branding, and location, we came up with a number of signage alternatives that would achieve their goals. Basically, vinyl window graphics are so versatile that we were able to use them to come up with affordable solutions for all of the client’s needs from blacking out a side door to displaying their store hours. Once they approved of the designs we provided them with, we got down to work.
We first printed out graphics for their large storefront window that faced the roadway. These graphics featured the Strand name along with a dangling hair dryer. For the glass door entrance, we removed the old hours of the previous business and replaced them with the client’s hours of operation along with their logo. The new venue also has a glass side door that they didn’t want people to see through, so we added a window wrap that completely blocks the view in. We then removed the vinyl graphics from an aluminum suite sign near the door.
We completed all of our work, including removing the old graphics and installing the new, at a time when we would not cause a disruption to Strand Salon’s relaxing atmosphere. In the end, they were completely satisfied with the work we did. In fact, their new graphics are already getting rave reviews on Facebook.
